Genie Tours Company was incorporated in 1970 by Alice and Dan Carter and is solely owned and operated by the Carter Family.  Genie Service Company, Inc. doing business as Genie Tours initiated operation as a tour and charter coach business in 1996.  Genie Tours currently holds Federal operating authority as well a Washington State Utilities and Transportation Commission charter and excursion operating authority, and Oregon Department of Transportation operating authority.

Alice and Dan Carter have been active in civic, professional, business and religious activities in Washington’s Tri-cities area for many years.  Genie Tours regularly donates services to local social and educational institutions.

Genie Tours currently provides charter services to area port districts, cities, colleges, universities, school districts, state and federal agencies, hospitals, agricultural, Greek organizations, commissions, Hanford contractors, business and industry, etc.

Genie Tours primary goal is to provide courteous quality charter motor coach services in the Yakima and Walla Walla Valley and Columbia Basin areas.  Genie Tours also strives to provide a higher quality of group tours (day trips as well as extended trips) to area residents at affordable prices.  The operation is small enough for the owner/operators to pay attention to details.
